Feeling Grateful



The practice of expressing gratitude is one that I tap into often, and that in many ways has brightened my life. It's easy to pray when we are in need or facing difficult times, but it's also really powerful to stop on a random Tuesday (or in this case Thursday), and give thanks simply because.

There are many things I am grateful for but today these are the ones that feel the loudest:

  • my incredible family, their love, and laughter

  • my partner, his support, and his ability to bring out the best in me

  • my business, my amazing clients, and the ability to spread joy using my art and design skills

  • my home and all the carefully decorated nooks that spark a little magick into the mundane

  • the mentors, teachers, and badass women who have inspired growth and transformation in my life

  • the ability to identify my truth and the courage to express it

  • my body and its unconditional love for me, even when I haven't always been kind

  • the walnut, coconut, chocolate chip pancakes I ate this morning

  • my serious collection of exquisite teas, poetry books, and tarot decks

  • and lastly the hope that burns inside of me that bright days are ahead, and I can't wait to welcome the unknown with a smile, imagination, and curiosity.
